Any horror stories of getting stuck in traffic? We got out fairly quickly and back to greenville by 1:00.

a whole LOT of people into and out of Clemson pretty smoothly. Towns of that size shouldn't be able to handle crowds of that size, but they do it very, very well. Far better than some much larger cities do. Makes for a much more enjoyable gameday experience.

Really boggles my mind that people run to their car to beat traffic after games like last night. Not very often you get to savor that experience

Yes. No cars could get out of lot 5. The officers stopped all cars for pedestrians crossing perimeter road. They didn't stop them for about 20 minutes and only did so then the the SCHP officer at the lot 5 exit walked over to the other officers at the crosswalk and told them to stop the pedestrians and let cars out. I was one of the first out of Lot 5 and didn't reach the three-way stop on Stone Church Road until 1:00AM. First time this has happened. I bet there are cars still in Lot 5 lol!!

My mom and I were stuck waiting for my dad until 3 am. We ended up sleeping in the grass next to the Gameday bus until he got there. When my dad arrived, we got home in Rock Hill at about 7 am.

At 12:05, got to Pendleton at 1:35. It was a little thick. I can't say that metered traffic well out of the lot onto perimeter very well, but we don't have that problem very often, so it's all good.

Worst I have ever seen ... Sat in Lot 10 for over two hours

before getting out onto Perimeter Road. 20 minutes ride to Armory - less than an hour drive to Taylors/Greer area. In bed at 4:00am. Got up at 7:00am to go to church.
Getting out of Lot 10 is awful for late home game; need to have someone controlling the exit.

traffic out of Clemson toward 123 was an absolute nightmare.
i have never seen anything like it.
we sat for over an hour waiting to get out of the lot we were in.
i dont think cars were moving at all anywhere for an hour.
it was crazy.
first time i have ever seen things not seem organized. and still maybe the most fun i have ever had in that town. lol

Thanks again to the tailgaters nearby who helped jump my car & another nearby car that both had dead batteries! Otherwise, I might have spent the night in the Brooks Center parking lot!

Awesome game but took 1.5 hours to get out of lot 4 to Perimeter Road, another hour back to Lake Keowee. Not complaining but far and away the worst traffic I've seen in 20 years.

Left the stadium after the Alma Mater to go to the car in lot 9. Got back to Spartanburg at 2:30. That is what happens when 84000 people try to leave a town the size of Clemson at the same time. It was worth every second in traffic.

No the problem is that there was well more than 84K leaving Clemson. I have a police officer friend that worked traffic control and they were told there was more than 150K people leaving Clemson last night.
