Whoever thumbed you down, I guess they have one of those for me to bc I have to say it, but it seems like our coaches are going to give all the 3 stars that isn't being recruited by the elite or bigger schools, a home to go to. I admit that Joe Wilkinson looks like a true 4 star talent that has been over looked.
Now looking at the film that CJ Kubah-Taylor selected for us to see, he just doesn't seem to have the same amount of talent, nor the FB IQ of keeping the play in front of him and going for the ball or to make the tackle the way that Wilkinson does in the film that he presented. I could be dead wrong about both of those guys, I'm not bragging, but, I'm usually right about these recruits more times than I've been wrong. I mean I have been a very avid college FB fan at least 30 years of my 61 years of being strictly a college FB ban, and with at least 20 years of being an NFL fan...
With the safety of being behind my computer screen I will usually say exactly what's on my mind  , but I've always been the same way even when I'm face to face with whoever bc I've never been afraid of many things on this earth, and none of it has ever been anything that wears pants or shoes, but there has been a few that wore a dress that gave me some concerns of how dangerous they may be . Anyway, I'm just voicing my opinion on two different FB recruits, and I don't feel that my opinions are any better than the opinions of others bc we all have an opinion on everything we involve ourselves with, and that is without a doubt everything!!!!
I just hope that the ones that are in charge of the recruiting, that they make the best choice on whoever they choose for the Clemson FB program, and all other sports program that Clemson University sponsors. Go Tigers, the fun is definitely in the winning!!!

You can't teach his physical body. So I believe they must think with some coaching they can create a steal here.

Understand where you're coming from AO52. Dabo does this every year when we didn't fill our class by signing day because we missed on our original offers. He fills it with hopeful last minute guys.
He's a super character kid. He's got good measurables and comes from an exceptionally respected school with a history. I'm shocked the local b1g schools didn't offer. You have to ask why Maryland didn't, Pitt, Virginia schools etc. That's their recruiting footprint.

What is particularly noteworthy of this story is that the future Tiger apparently turned down a Naval Academy appointment to attend Clemson. Scholarship offers are one thing. Military service academy appointments are completely another and not handed out and around like Christmas candy.

WOW, I just don't think I could have turned down a Naval Academy appointment unless I was a guarantee of playing in the NFL bc after the Academy, you can about chart out a really good for yourself, and it doubles, triples if you decide on having a family with all the benefits that are included for a Naval officer with a family!!!

Not exactly a dream team of other choices for him so no surprise at all he committed - good size and his school puts a ton of players into D1 and the League so let's hope he is a Diamond in the rough here - don't be distracted by the "stars" which are meaningless.
Any of you old enough to remember a guy named Levon Kirkland!! I'd say he did just fine!

I am excited about this young man. I've heard some differing opinions on here but he looks like a player to me. Stars mean less and less as they are more and more tied to money. Had Clemson offered 2 months ago when they knew he was a viable candidate, other would have begun offering too and he'd be a 4 star recruit.
Last year we took Kalil and Tyler late as 3 stars and thats turned out pretty well so far.
