Must win by an extremely large margin in order to stay at 4. If not drop a couple of spots. Michigan absolutely running PSU out of Michigan.

I suspect you are correct, in the eyes of the pollsters. But UM will eventually lose to OSU and Clemson will be back up there...if we win out.

We say that but this year is different. There are some really good teams not just 4 with the possibility of not losing. AL/GA/TN could go undefeated and being the SEC champ, OSU/MI go undefeated, UCLA/USC same, TCU/OKst, and Clemson. SEC, BIG10, Big12, PAC, ACC, all have a chance at an undefeated season. With my math that is 5. So yes Clemson does need impressive wins in games like this because it will come down to the eye test. You know it is going to be SEC and B10 in automatically. PAC12 being undefeated will be in for the exposure and market. So it will be between Clemson and B12. Games like tonight could go a long way if it's convincing in the eye test with the committee. So IMO the OP is absolutely correct in their assessment of the importance of this game not only in the win but how we play.

You are correct with that, but could happen. All I'm saying is the OP has a point. This is a statement type game for Clemson.
