This loss was actually good

Look, we don’t lose much but I’ve been a Clemson fan from when it wasn’t nearly as cool as it is today. Some fans have gotten really spoiled and don’t realize how hard it is to win and how quickly things can go bad. See LSU... We were not even close to full strength and still should have won the game. This loss and getting healthy will make us better. Please step back and realize how great we have it! Go Tigers!

Absolutely! Just think what it’s like to be a UGA fan. Always top recruits and they keep coming..Had spotty success but overall a big disappointment under Kirby. So enjoy Tiger fans. We will be fine.

No loss is "good" but last night wasn't really a loss. It was a tie for all meaningful purposes (rankings, playoffs, ACCCG appearance, etc.). It won't keep Clemson out of anything. And Clemson played surprisingly well in a very adverse situation. I figured it'd be 42-13 Irish or something close to that.

Yep. The last two games we’ve been really good at taking some serious shots and our fair share of mistakes but managing to stay in it. No quit in this team.

What are we in the SEC now with our quality losses and moral victories ?
Looking forward to the rematch. I hope we can get healthy

Like it or not, the Playoff Committee has explicitly or implicitly ruled that: 1. Overtime losses aren't as bad as non-overtime losses. 2. Losses when you have major personnel out aren't as bad as losses when you're full strength. 3. Road losses aren't as bad as home losses. 4. When one member of the top four loses to another member of the top four in the regular season, the loss doesn't "count" nearly as much as a loss to worse team. 5. Losses that can are avenged in a conference championship game rematch are totally meaningless if that's the only blemish. 6. 11-1/12-1 is always good enough if you're a "modern blueblood" like Alabama, Clemson, Ohio State, etc. unless the one loss is horrendously embarrassing and inexcusable (which is not the case here).
I don't make the rules. I'm just saying that that's how the Playoff Committee operates, and based on that, the Notre Dame loss is utterly and completely meaningless to Clemson's playoff hopes if they win out (which is highly likely).

Still not GOOD. It's obviously the best game to lose if we

were going to lose one. Can get redemption in the ACCCG. Have to win out though!
That being said, I wish we would have played football when we had that last offensive possession before the end of regulation. Wish we had stayed away from the plays ND had stuffed all night, and tried some of the wide-side crossing route rollout stuff that worked earlier. Short stuff. Easy pitch and catch. Keep them guessing, and I don't know, GET A FIRST DOWN. Run the clock. Eat their time-outs. ONE first down away from taking that game, even after a 10-0 start then giving them another 10 on turnovers!

I’m pretty positive ND did not use a single timeout on their 90 yard drive to score a TD and tie the score to force OT...
Which is shocking - and not in a good way.

didn't make them use time-outs. Run the offense, get a first down, and WIN!

Can’t win them all. Might as well look at the positives.
