Way to much negativity coming from some of our own people about this bowl game. It seems like they have no faith in us beating Kentucky! I really believe our tigers will win, I have faith in our players and coaches, and I honestly believe we got this! My thing is, how can you call yourself a true fan if you don't believe you're going to win?? GO TIGERS!

Opt outs and the ones that has transferred out takes away the lure of it all. What good is a tiger or even a wildcat with several missing claws and teeth?? Half of these players are just about to enjoy the playing time.... learning on the job..... thats it.

However, the players interested in opting-out will have no interest in whether their team gets a bowl bid.
Then, the bowls will be stuck with essentially with a pre-spring game scrimmage.
Bowl attendance will become quite weak and overall interest will wane quickly.
It is the end of the glory days of college football.
Ed O’Bannon should be quite proud of his achievements.

Good points. I think we'll see more evidence of so-called "big time" teams with lots of opt outs just going through the motions at their bowl games.

My good sir, being wildly delusional in the extreme…either in an optimistic or pessimistic way is the primary purpose of fan message boards! I would say an 90% of the conversations here revolve around one extreme hot take or another!

First, what is a TRUE FAN???? What criteria is etched in stone that one must adhere to, to be classified as a TRUE FAN? Fact of the matter is, you have several different types of fans. You have die hard, casual, positive, negative, realist, delusional and of course BANDWAGON fans. Some of us will sit in a Hurricane to watch our Tigers play Notre Dame, yes I was there, 2015. Others will leave at half time, when it's a tied game. At the end of the day, people make time to support teams/people that are important to them. We do what we have to do to support what we love. The fact is, CLemson Tiger football is just not as important to some people as it is to others. GO TIGERS!!!!
