I have followed to an extent the views towards your baseball program. I would like to say that your program is in good shape. You have a quality coach with a proven record with multiple accomplishments. South Carolina has over shadowed you for the last few years but they have over shadowed everyone. Take it from a former college player that your facilities and coaching are on par with any in the country. I would have loved to play in such a setting as it is head and shoulders above most northern or B1G schools. Winning a national championship is great but your program is in the picture every year. It's just a matter of time and luck. If you knock your baseball program you should take a close look around. You are not seeing the real picture.

I am a baseball fan and player. You are nothing more than a rude internet hack. This fan base is not like you and I already know that. I feel sorry for people like you. You make your own fan base look bad, if everyone just counted you. Thank god most people discount you.....you are a Dollar Tree fan that most true fans despise....

baseball all of my life, but that's not what this is about.
i find it difficult to believe you ever attended notre dame, much less graduated. i don't believe you have what it takes. i played college ball, wow, check me out.
i played catch with bob feller, rip sewell taught me how to throw the eephus pitch, yet i don't find it in me to go to another team's board and tell them 'it must be a northern thing'...

I am from Alexandria, Virginia. I attended Notre Dame and as a walk on had one career start in my years 4 from 1997-2000. We beat Wisc.Milwaukee 4-1 in my only start in 1998. I played left field and had 31 at bats in 4 years but loved every minute of it. I am a member of the Monogram Club. I am first and foremost a baseball fan. I went back 3 years ago and finished my degree. I live in Asheville and with Clemson being the closest D1 school and a fellow ACC member I figured why not keep up with your team as a second favorite and maybe attend some events there. I work with 2 Clemson alumni who had me excited about being a part of the ACC bandwagon. Then I joined this board to interact and get to know what makes Clemson, Clemson. I have been attacked, assailed and treated very rude on this board. If all you want is Clemson fans posting here asking no questions and towing the line then you have picked a perfect way to make other teams fans feel not welcomed. I would think fans would want everyone to have a good experience with in their fan base. I guess some of you guys are the exception to that. It's a shame because I thought from my coworkers this fan base was loyal and very accepting of others. It's just not true for a LARGE part of this board. No problem guys. I can always just go....oh yea I know....don't let the door hit me ....class guys, real class. Thanks to the ones who were respectful but it's not worth dealing with the ones who are not. You dead...have the right name....you are dead in personality and probably friends to. I notice you spend a lot of time here. I guess this is the only place everyone can go and still not get away from your rude and crude remarks. I feel sorry for anyone that has to deal with you day to day.
