Was watching UGA/OU replay

For a few minutes...
And the announcer said on 3rd down "watch out for OU's DE...he is there best player. He is like a SEC type of DE".
Wanted to punch that announcer in the throat. The SEC is not the measuring stick for a quality player.
If true...then Vanderbilt would be a powerhouse.

Truth!! Also, I’ve watched the game as well. Without those two backs having career games, the dawgs would have been blown out in that game. OU handeled them for most of the game.

LOL. Sony had a great game, no doubt. Maybe his best game. Chubb, not so much. I'm not sure his 145 yards would even rank in his top 10 career games. But whatever, your big players are ~supposed~ to play big in big games. That's kinda the point. And if you think they handled us "for most of the game", then you are just completely outside of your ever-lovin mind. Starting about midway through the 2nd qtr, we absolutely dominated that game. They got nothing in the entire 3rd qtr and had only 1 drive in the 4th. 7 of their 8 second half possessions gained 22 yards or less, and they were 3 or 4 & punt on 6 of them. Meanwhile we were scoring right and left.

Your analysis is if you remove the rushing yards and points UGA had, they would have been blown out. Wouldn't that be true of just about any team in any game? Clemson rushed for less than 100 yards in the title game they won over Bama. If not for Watson's huge passing game, they are likley blown out. What's your point?

I watched it. I just wish CLEMSON had been selected to play OU, and expose Baker Mayfield once again. But after 2 consecutive curb-stompings, I guess the committee decided that OU had had enough punishment for a lifetime.

and/or almost lose. I’d be upset if I were a Bulldog fan, but in reality, the channel doesn’t have many other UGA options.

Not obnoxious at all. Just dealing with Francis Marion's never ending (and mostly stupid) shots at UGA.

I don't know why some of y'all get so bent out of shape over stuff like this. He is typical of the kind of DE SEC teams attract.
