Secretly feel a boat racing coming?

I truly believe that Notre dame is a great team, but knowing our Tigers and how they respond in 2nd chances and redemption games I feel like the Irish are about to get it handed to them..I try to look at their strengths against us and they are real. But Its Dabo and redemption and well.. Tigers 38. Irish 17. Spot the ball! Book throws for 175 2 TDs and 1 pick. We are gonna really slow down their run game.

Only way we boat race them is if we have different schemes offensively and defensively but I know we won’t so it will be more head scratching play calling by us.

I trust CBV to make adjustments. Biggest part of that will be players available to him, namely Davis, Skalski, and Jones. On offense, scoring wasn’t the issue, but having a healthy QB that can add to the run game will make a big difference.

(time to shave that off dude, you're too old) was right. In South Bend, DJ had several 3rd down opportunities to pull the ball and pick up the 1st down + yardage. He left it with Travis and their D focused on stopping him. We had several drives that were killed that would surely have led to points. Freshman mistake on the road, in the cold. DJ will learn.
TL16 won't make that mistake and will make them pay.

Maybe you should just go caroling on Saturday afternoon? If you watched the last game you would have seen 4 occasions where a qb keep on the zone read would've resulted in a 20 yr plus gain. DJ wasn't gonna run because of the shoulder. 500yds offense thru the air doesn't have the same impact as 500 yds of 350 and 150. Just wait you'll see.

Not having the big weapons on the boundary...

really limits our offense. It’s hard to load the box when you have to defend long, speedy receivers who can go up and get it on the sideline. Missing Ross and Higgins big time. With those guys on the field we could spread the field and run the ball.

Amari Rodgers taking up the slack. But, I get what you are saying. We are like a Lamborg-hiney that is stuck in 3rd gear, revving like heyall but can't achieve top speed.

We always play differently in the Championship & Playoffs. Look for our Tigers to be as dominant as we were in 2018.
It’s 2020 & we win every even year! 2016-2018-2020-2022
Go Tigers

No boat race. I hate ND, but they NEVER go away. They expect to find a way to win even when they are down. You have to respect them for that.
No, this will be a slugfest. We WILL prevail, but it is going to be close. And I can't wait !!

This isn't the same ND team nor Ian Book from 2 years ago

We better bring our A-game or we will lose and miss the CFP.
We don't win by just showing up. Gotta execute, make plays and understand ND will make some plays too.
This is going to be a tough battle. If your heart is weak, don't watch.
