Team Missing those really big-time WR'ers..

Nobody on team now comes close to what the last group or two receivers achieved, and thus in pros.

Couldn't agree more, no Williams, Nuk, Sammy. Or if there are, they are too young this year (Higgins). Alot of very goods, but no greats (other than Renfrow's clutch and hands)

Nope. Missing the QB who can throw it accurately down field consistently.

You are definitely onto something there. I want KB running the O and he gives us an opportunity to beat anyone. But the 15+ yard throw is not his sweet spot. A couple of Cain's misses were just bad passes.

I believe KB is close to 70% on throws over 15 yards. Cain needs to step up. Tough to replace Mike Williams but Cain has a hard time winning the 50% balls. And he’s offsides at least once a game. Which tells me his play could use a little more focus and concentration.

for the two freshmen to really be ready yet.
This shows how GREAT Sammy Watkins was - to be a 1st Team AP All-American receiver his true freshman year!!!!

Sammy was ridiculously good. Wish he would tone down the diva act in the NFL, but in my top 5 tigers of all time. His bowl game vs. OSU game was legendary

Not really his point. We don't have a dominant deep threat this year to throw to... One that is a frisbee catching dog. Cain isn't that guy. Not yet at least and I don't see him being that guy

Ur right and teams key on Renfrow. I think Tee could be that guy this year but it seems what’s missing with Tee is not enough reps with kb.
We don’t have that downfield threat like we’ve had in the past. Cain does great on yac. Our offense is time to clean up those little mistakes that become drive killers. Still don’t understand why we’re not going over the top more. Maybe because kb can’t pass.

Not a shot at Deon, because he's a fantastic wr, but

he's not the 9 we got used to in Mike Williams. MW was a man on the boundary; Deon is different, still learning the physical aspect of that spot.
Diondre Overton is playing well, seems very strong for his tall frame and had another nice catch in traffic tonight.
Ray Ray is fantastic, still the most dynamic skill player on the team. He's done everything he's been asked, they just don't ask much of any of them, certainly not throwing nearly as much as prior years.
216 passes in 8 games from our QBs, 27 per game thus far in 2017. DW4 avg. 39 per game by himself in 2016.
The coaches repped a ton of skill tonight on O, young and ~old, building that exp.

Cain needs to stop pushing off. He does it all the time, just doesn't always get caught.
