Rulez08's affidavit was a loser today.
Nov 19, 2020, 6:18 PM
|
|
The federal judge (who, by the way, was appointed by Trump!) explained that routine complaints about irregularities in the election process should have been, and were, brought to authorities within the particular county, and if things had not been resolved at that stage (they were), the next step would have been a lawsuit in state court.
In short, Rulez08's magic affidavit that he learned about from the Epoch Times person was actually a load of BS.
Hey Rulez, you want a SOURCE for that? It's me, I watched it happen live. Why don't you check and see if your Epoch Times guy tweets about it.

But you gotta admit, tigermanac has a point.

I actually watched the hearing in the case that I knew about ONLY because of Rulez. So tigermanac is right that it got into my head!
And honestly, it was enlightening. Had I not looked into it, the whole story would be Rulez going "See Dems! There's fraud! Keep your heads in the sand, loosers!" Followed by Rulez going "Source check" at me over and over. And who's to say what the truth was?
Now we know, because Rulez inspired me to go down the rabbit hole. The truth, we know now, is that Rulez (and everyone like him) was being lied to by the Epoch Times twitter guy. While that tweet linked to a REAL affidavit that vaguely referred to voting irregularities, it wasn't evidence of fraud and wasn't being offered to fight fraud. It was disingenuously prepared and submitted in an inappropriate venue after all such problems had already been resolved at the county and state level.
That's exactly the way in which Epoch Times and other sources of disinformation do their best work: Take a kernel of truth and turn it into something it's not.
So where did this bring me in the end? Back to the beginning:

I don't drink any more Bengaline, but if you are ever down here in the Treasure Coast area, I will buy you one on a nice outdoor patio looking over the Atlantic, take a few hits of LSD, and see where things go from there...

People have said that nothing Went on that does not go on every single election. And none of it will make a difference in the outcome. And Trump continuing to claim that it was rigged and fraud and other horse crap is ultimately going to do damage to the United States of America

Due to covid. Many states changed their election rules, some at the last minute. These circumstances created environments in which it was easier for voting irregularities to take place, identify, and correct...

bengal,
I am not sure what you mean by shenanigans. I DO believe that there were some improper ballots, but I think that happens every year. And I wouldn't be surprised if it was more than normal because of mail-ins and other covid stuff.
However, I DO NOT think there was any significant deliberate fraud. And I certainly do not think there was enough to over turn the results.
So while I am fine with the law suits, I think the country should move on and the transition should begin.
Does that seem fair enough ?

is that Clemson has so many socialist fanboys. I'll never understand why that is so popular, unless you've just given up and want big brother to take care of you. Mediocrity is king!

We need to start of list of people who weirdly introduce socialism into threads where no one was talking about socialism.

What is interesting and sad at the same time is how many of you reactionaries want to lump anyone who disagrees with you together as socialists - especially when bet you could not give a reasonable explanation of what socialism is.
