At least he got the memo loud and clear from Neff, I will say that. Good job BB!

To put it in HR speak:

He was put on a performance improvement plan.

He did just enough to check the box "meets expectations."

"Exceeds expectations" is never a goal it seems.

He exceeded expectations actually- won at UNC and likely is in NCAAT. Of course we have lowly expectations but that is another manner

Let’s see

21 wins
Won at the Dean dome
Beat rival
No bad losses as defined by the net
Would have won at Duke but got hosed
Graduated all players
VG recruiting class signed
5th place conference finish
Two players all ACC
7th ish seed in march madness

For Clemson basketball, this is an exceeds expectations

Great! So youre on board with Clemson funding the program better?

Right now, we are toward the bottom of the ACC in that category.

That attitude is exactly why we can't have nice things.

This is inaccurate data, and pointing out insignificant metrics based on exceeding past mediocre performances means nothing. Unless you’re bringing home trophies from winning a conference or natty, finishing sixth in a conference, and making the tournament as an underdog to an 11 seed mean nothing.

Since I'm not a basketball junkie is that a good thing for the
never Brads since he made the tournament?

So it will be 15 years of mediocrity and the meter is still running.
