Ship, Postgame, and Bowls

First off, hope Ship is ok after that 100% target hit. That was a dirty hit. And to have it happen in a terrible game during a horrible season makes the wound worse. Shows ACC ref incompetence because we get called on everything. Prayers up for a good report.

Post game, there are really few words left for Dabo to speak. At the end of the day he is accountable as he leads our team however, not seeing any innovation in the place by our OC. Vanilla calls. And catastrophe every time a critical play occurs. We own the numbers but poor RZ plays and turnovers will continue to haunt. And it is very obvious CK2 is nervous and cannot execute when it counts. Riley seems to be present but clearly ineffective. Our D looks pretty good to be honest. Yesterday some great work. But fatigue early on because of the O and…

We don’t deserve a bowl. Not even sure it is mentally healthy. The motivation sounds done. Same encouragement over and over. We have talent but its simply not in sync. Time to regroup and rebuild. Especially if best is the standard. The final 4 are make or break. I’m not a betting man but we are at a historically low point.

Atleast my loyalty is 100%. I will stick with our tigers through good and evil. But dang it stings.

Go Tigers!

the defense was never close to being fatigued. They played a total of 46 snaps. Their defense played 81 snaps.

It was an unfortunate collision but I did not think it was targeting. The defender came in low with his head up and the contact was at basically the forehead of the defender's helmet. After the helmet contact his shoulder hit Ship and bent his head down. That was what scared me initially. I do think it warranted a review (I certainly hope they were looking at it in the booth during the time they were checking Ship out), but Ship was not a defenseless player. I pray he is OK and able to play.

That was a clear targeting hit on Shipley that was not called. Clearly hit to head and neck.

You clearly don’t understand the rule or you lack the ability to avoid “homerism” when objectively analyzing the play and official call.
