One of the best individuals I’ve ever known was an irrigation technician at a golf course I worked at through college and a few years after. Hardest working person youd ever met. First to show up and last to leave. Hardly ever took a break.
He swam across the Rio Grande in the 70’s and married a white woman and gained citizenship.
So it’s always been a problem, and most of those people are just human beings trying to survive like the rest of us.

I believe there is a way to provide work visas for the labor needed without having an open border. We need to change our system and they need to apply for the papers.

I know this is your wet dream and all the media you consume has you worked up into a frenzy, but we aren’t divided into large regional enclaves now. Even within red states there are very large blue cities. A civil war is just not going to happen. People like you and a few others here talk a big game, but there’s a big difference in talk and actually killing one of your fellow citizens.
