SEC Teams will soon make $1 Billion ea over next 10 yrs to

ACC' teams making only approx 1/3 of a $Billion each during same 10 year period IF ACC's 2036 deal isn't changed.
Saying, $650,000,000 less income over 10 years is gonna cause a Clemson or whichever ACC Team to become irrelevant as far as completion in the CFP is concerned.
This & other factors have made me fear that Clemson will never see another Natty while in the ACC and very few CFP's.

The ride wasn't going to last forever. I enjoyed as much as I could. Glad I was in Tampa!

If that's all it's come to, than I'm glad we are who we are rather than just another sec prostitute selling itself for the highest bidder.

You can only build so many facilities and pay coaches so much. We are doing fine.

Like many have been saying, either the ACC will expand and get a new contract, or Clemson will join the SEC.
Either way, the SEC has been making a ton more money for decades, and it hasn't put us at a disadvantage. Like someone else said, we have everything we need and can afford more if needed. But then again, what else can anyone build?
We've proven we have enough money to win, and at the same time all the money in the world doesn't guarantee good programs. There are too many examples to count.
Bill likes to stir things up. Trolling-light, if you will.

In another year, winning the ACC will mean an automatic playoff spot. It is much easier to win the ACC than it is to win the SEC and the more chances you have to make the playoffs the more chances you have to win it all. Therefore, I don't think being in the ACC from a potential for winning future National Championships is a detriment at all.
However, I do see other potential indirect deficits that could hurt us by remaining in the ACC. If the ACC continues to drop in relevance then it gets harder to recruit the best talent and fewer dollars means fewer investments we can make in resources, NIL, etc.
Conferences will continue to consolidate and the entire structure of college football is going to continue to evolve into something different than it is right now. I highly doubt we will remain in the ACC in football until the 2036 deal expires.
Our future relevance will depend on the future decisions we make that will hopefully be the best for our program.
