Wow. During these tough times it is very important that we read these amazingly informative news articles.
Here is the full quote since the lefty media like to spin everything negatively pertaining to Trump. What a joke.
“This president is regularly tested; this president will make the decision as to whether to wear a mask or not. I can tell you those veterans are protected, they made the choice to come here because they've chosen to put their nation first. They wanted to be with their commander-in-chief on this momentous day. And it was their choice to come here. And I can tell you the president always puts the safety of our veterans first and of the American people first."

So you are saying that if Trump gets tested and it comes back negative, he still has to wear a mask at all times?
You really need to read this. Both tests being used are only about 70% accurate.
"Widespread testing for the SARS-CoV-2 virus is important to both slow the virus and gain information about how widespread it is in the US. But a second aspect of testing has gotten less attention: accuracy.
It’s surprisingly hard to determine how accurate a coronavirus test is, identify the cause of any inaccuracies and understand how inaccuracies affect the data public health officials use to make decisions.
There are two main types of test in use. The first is a reverse-transcription polymerase chain reaction test, or RT-PCR. This is the most common diagnostic test used to identify people currently infected with SARS-CoV-2. It works by detecting viral RNA in a person’s cells—most often collected from their nose.
The second test being used is called a serological or antibody test. This test looks at a person’s blood to see if they’ve produced antibodies for the coronavirus. If a test finds these antibodies, it means a person was infected and made antibodies in response.
Hearing that some tests for the coronavirus are only about 70 percent accurate can be unsettling. I am a molecular biologist who studies viruses, and a lot of people are asking me what this inaccuracy means and why the tests aren’t better."

him being a POS. Since you were misled by the quote, you have changed the whole thread.
He is being tested everyday. If he is 6ft apart and knows he is negative, why does it matter? I am assuming that the veterans have been tested as well.
It is true that those men at their age are taking a risk at traveling, no matter the circumstances. They could have gotten the flu or had a heart attack or really anything. So its always a risk at that age.
My wife's grandma is 98 and she tested positive last week. Luckily only a slight temperature for her so far. If she beats this, it will be awesome, just as if she beat the flu at this time of year.
Knee jerk reactions without putting in thought isn't good for anyone. Just enjoy the fact that the Veterans met a President and got to spend some time in DC.

Self-inflicted paper cuts. And the general public is that much more justified to roll their eyes and dismiss negative articles when they read news about the President. It’s been a long time since I have had an ounce of respect for American journalism, but their tantrum in response to having their objectivity or integrity questioned has been nothing short of pathetic.
And oh yeah...people who hate Trump think he’s evil for not wearing a mask and people who support him don’t.

I mean, I dont like his personal antics, but to me, he has been fine at being President, even with all the attacks and people coming after him. If he would just drop twitter it would be a great presidency.
Make sure to put on your flippers on and clap when Biden is on the ticket in November.

is there are hundreds of statements, tweets, news stories, interviews and just plain facts that would back my assertion that Donald J Trump is a flaming pile of dog turds on a good day and a festering bag of diapers from a day care that only feeds its infants Indian food and cheese on his worst day.
It’s really that simple. When you examine who he is, deep down, it ain’t pretty.

He is exactly the same now as he was when he was voted into office. We got exactly what we expected and you are going to have about five more years of what you're getting now. You might want to start working through it.
