Yea that helps to win. Some of these so called fans act like we didn't move the ball in the 2nd half. We got inside the 5 yard line 3 times in a row. We didn't finish the drives which is what matters most but all is not lost. We didn't get beat down like people make it out to be.

he was basically saying if we did that every game, we wouldn't lose another. Just another reporter looking to take a quip and tweet. It's a valid argument considering we were 108-0 in our history. However, the issue is we only do that in about 30% of our games(since Dabo has been coach, historically under 10%). It's not going to be a common occurrence to hit those #s. If it becomes a common occurrence then we should be excited because the RZ, Kicking and TOs is probably a once every 20-30 year event.

That was the first Clemson loss in history with 200+ yds rushing and 200+ yds passing. So his statement isn't really that outrageous. There are certainly things that need fixing and I don't know that we could have those stats against a Georgia or Ohio State or even a top 15 Offense and Defense team, but with those stats we should have won. What we do now we will have to see.

Just for clarity sake, Dabo wasn't 108-0. Clemson was 108-0. Dabo is like 59-0. Well, 59-1 now. Second, I went back and looked at the Tenn. stats just for giggles. It wasn't 200 and 200 but it was 320 and 164. And we lost by 17.
So, that is 2 games in a row where we far outgained the opponent and still got waxed. That speaks to a lack of preparation, discipline and focus. Something we rarely had to worry about in our 6 playoff run and Scott and BV as DAbo's key lieutenants running the day to day.
There is a lot to unpack and a lot to get corrected. My biggest concern is does Dabo have the horses in both talent and coaching to get it done.
Time will tell...

Seems like you're the moron. Clemson was 108-0, not Dabo. Last year, Duke was the 105th ranked passing defense. They were okay against the run, 36th. They had the 68th ranked total defense. Are they an okay team? Sure. They have experience and a couple playmakers. But this is not some powerhouse defense that means we're going to average 200+ passing yards and rushing yards. We won't do that many times this year.

I think he’s referring probably to passing and running for over 200 yards, without mistakes you’ve got a great chance of winning a games with those numbers. Problem is it will be a bear for this passing game to open up a defense enough for us to run for 200 against better dlines.

Dabo’s biggest mistake - the one that had haunted us for 3 years - is letting the WR talent fall so far. Fix that, and then you can assess any QB that rolls through.
