Was arrested for throwing the first punch? He got what was coming to him, but I wonder if she did too. (Aside from the punch back).

behind some people buying drinks at the bar. When they are done and start to move away, she tries to move into that spot. That's when the QB comes from behind and tries to push her out of the way to claim that spot for himself.

Apparently stories are being reported of him hitting one of the girls friends before this video, and technically he assaulted her first by grabbing her to the point where she reacted.
If you defend this guy you probably have zero respect for females, there are no excuses for what he did especially in the climate where he knows violence against women is being openly condemned and scrutinized.

then promptly gives multiple excuses for the kid...
She called him a "racial epithet", she bumped into him, she hit him first, etc.
Whatever, the kid is off the team and he should be. I guess they could charge the girl with battery, but it won't mean anything to her.

Agreed...not sure how anyone can defend this guy...including this attorney.
Maybe I'm still too old-school but I was taught you NEVER hit a woman, regardless of the situation. He is clearly stronger than her and if you watch, seems he maybe pushes her a bit when he goes up to the bar. I heard his Attorney also claimed that she kneed/kicked him in the groin. Ok - whenever that has happened to me or any guy I've seen it happen to....first reaction is almost drop to the ground on your knees. He had no reaction. And how is he going to prove she said a racist comment unless he has a really good lip reader. I could see this turning on that attorney as the girl could get him for slander.
So glad we do not recruit thugs like this.
