IPTAY question

Sep 29, 2014, 6:22 PM

I've always got season tickets through my family, unfortunately this year I didn't know where I would be with job/school so I didn't get my tickets. The more I've thought the more I've realized I want an Iptay of my own for me and my future family. What would I need to donate to have two lower deck season tickets.

Really depends on where in the lower deck that you want to sit. Google IPTAY seat equity plan and it should give you the stadium broken down by the donor level you need per seat. I've got 5 seats on the 10 yard line visitor side with $2100 level.

$2100 is about to be $2400. I've got 4 lower level on the home side 15 yard line. But points matter also. You've got to start earning those points.

Seat equity is minimum. Don't use that

As a gauge for how much you need to give...you will be disappointed.

I suggest that you call Jason Wilson. Perhaps he can do the research and find the answer. I am an IPTAY rep and I have no idea ... but it would be scary!!! I do know that we have had several Heisman donors recently and it was a scramble to find them acceptable seating. If you can't get in touch with Jason, t-mail me and I will get you the answer if you are serious.

Will depend on turnover and how many you want.

Sep 29, 2014, 7:21 PM

So, no way to say for sure.

I'm not sure why everyone new to the club expects the best seats. Kind of like fresh grads thinking they need a starter home nicer than their parents.

I know of someone that had the same seats for decades, gives more than required for seat equity and still got moved because some rich a-hole wanted his seats.

Not exactly new to the club, I've given or my family has my whole life. Just looking to start my own points.

Not looking for the best seats

Sep 29, 2014, 7:28 PM

I know it would be in the corners. I was just wondering the realistic amount due to not having points. See that's why I want to get started now, so that I will have points for when I have a family. I'm 19.

If you go with Howard level ($2400) or above, you can get two decent seats as I have a friend who went in at $1400 this past year under the same circumstances as you and he got decent seats. Since you only want two, you should be able to do that. At that level, you can also get halfway decent parking.

Just a guess....Iptay Level.....now $3200.***

Seems that I read something recently that said for 2014 the minimum was the $2800 level (going to $3200 for 2015) with 60+ points to get new season tickets in the lower level.
