My top 5 remaining targets in this order

Jun 10, 2014, 11:01 AM

1. Tim Settle
2. Austin Bryant
3. Shy Tuttle
4. Albert Huggins
5. Ray Ray Mcloud
Would really like to get Zack Bailey also but I would rather have these 5 first. Agree or Disagree?

Yeah, Based on who we already Have i would put the DL's at the top. Although i don't know who Austin Bryant is.

I would put McCloud at No. 3 because I believe Tuttle is a tar heel. Bailey I believe to be a ####.

Austin Bryant is a 4 star DE out of Georgia. Listed at 6'5 245. Clemson, Auburn and FSU seem to be his favorites.

We are doing well in recruiting, but if SC continues to get bigger guys on the line like Bailey, they will continue to beat us, yes, we played well last year, but the turnovers killed us, we were very physical, I guess I don't need to compare our OL to theirs, but our DL to their OL. However, if they continue getting guys the size of a guy like Bailey, our DL will have to be big, fast, and very physical.

Huggins, Settle, Tuttle, Sweat, and Bailey.

I want Mcloud or Hines but I believe Bailey would be a big win instate.

Bailey looks like the guy the coots get that we wish we would have gotten. They have huge OL. We need to get him to block them,

2024 white level memberbadge-donor-10yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Exactly, look at the camp pictures of him compared

Jun 10, 2014, 11:20 AM

to Furmorgen. Now you see why SC and FSU continue to dominate us up front.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

To be fair Bailey is an OG. Furmorgen is an OT***

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Either way

Jun 11, 2014, 12:04 AM

He is a man among boys out there at camp when looking at the pictures. He is def someone that the coaches need to be doing everything they can to get him. Bailey, Frumorghen*, and Hyatt all on the field means no D-linemen getting through!

Jun 10, 2014, 11:21 AM [ in reply to Re: My top 5 remaining targets in this order ]

With all the rave reviews that Bailey is getting it's a must we land this kid. Not only to beat Scar for a big time recruit but cause this kid is a stud.

1.Huggins
2.Bryant
3.Settle
4.Bailey
5.DeBerry

McCloud close to 5th..Clemson isn't getting Tuttle

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Not getting tuttle, go ahead and

Jun 10, 2014, 11:19 AM

keep your list but replace him with Bailey and/or Deberry, who is probably a long shot at this point with coots trending.

But Settle, Huggins, Bryant, McCloud, and Deberry would be huge, although I don't think we take 4 more DLs think 2 or 3 (3 more would be 7 total, one over what we lose).

what about George Cambell????? 4.38 speed and 6'4"

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Re: Not getting tuttle, go ahead and

Jun 10, 2014, 11:59 AM

Clemson isn't trending with him and he hasn't visited in a while. If he visits we got a chance but he's drinking that Florida juice. He's not gonna make his decision based on Artavis Scott. Cain right now is better at WR.

Re: GEORGE CAMPBELL***

Jun 10, 2014, 3:16 PM

I don't think he will be a tiger. Even if we were his.#1 right now I wouldn't put him in the top 5. We are already stacked at the WR position. I'm sure the coaches would take him but imo I would rather save the scholly for next year

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Re: GEORGE CAMPBELL***

Jun 11, 2014, 12:09 AM

We have a lot of depth at WR but I'm not confident we have a Sammy caliber player on roster at WR at the moment. I know Sammy is a once in a decade type of player but Campbell if he is a true 4.38 at 6'4" would have the potential to be another Sammy/Nuke caliber player.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Re: GEORGE CAMPBELL***

Jun 11, 2014, 12:37 AM

Yeah that's a good point. Like I said, I'm sure the coaches would take him but their probably not recruiting him as hard as some if the other guys. There's no doubt he's going to be a great WR wherever he goes. I think Mcloud is a heavy Clemson lean right now and will eventually commit to us. I don't think the coaches are looking to take more than 3 wr in this class and with him, Bell and Cain we should be done at WR. We'll see what happens though, that's just my thoughts

Re: My top 5 remaining targets in this order

Jun 10, 2014, 1:03 PM

1. Settle - 5** recruit, nuff said!
2. Huggins - I like him more than Bryant and feel like we stand a much better chance with him than Bryant. We are the rumored favorite with Huggins and have been for a while.
3. Darian Roseboro - we already have 2 WDE comitted and now need SDE. Huggins and Roseboro would be a great 1-2 on strongside for years to come with Ferrell, Davis, Ebo, and Yeargin holding down the weakside.
4. Ray Ray 3 - In our offensive scheme, you can never have too many playmakers and thats what this guy is! Cain, Scott, Thompson, Kitt, Mcloud, Bell, and Priester will be one great receiving corp!
5. Zack Bailey - We need a legit OG in this class and it's guy because Wariboko out of OK is a long shot. Great OL class we have regardless if this guy comes or not, but landing him would be huge to lock down a guard spot and of course keeping him from the Coots!

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I think Huggins is going to be a DT

Jun 10, 2014, 1:20 PM

I agree completely about Bailey and Settle.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Re: I think Huggins is going to be a DT

Jun 10, 2014, 1:24 PM

Yea I think Huggins will be able to DT or SDE, but we need a SDE in this class because both Ferrell and Davis are WDE. And after this season we lose Crawford and Barnes, and if Lawson keeps up what he did after his freshman season, he may end up leaving his Junior year so a stud @ SDE is paramount!

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I think Dane Rogers is going to be a SDE

Jun 10, 2014, 1:27 PM

He reminds some of Tarvaris Barnes.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Re: I think Dane Rogers is going to be a SDE

Jun 10, 2014, 1:33 PM

Rogers should be good along w Byers, but we still need a legit SDE in this class after missing out on a few over the last couple of classes.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Completely agree. And we lost them all because of $$$!!

Jun 10, 2014, 1:37 PM

RN, Carl Lawson, Mount Adams, etc all got pulled by either Auburn or Ole Miss and the crap they pulled last year is painful

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Re: Completely agree. And we lost them all because of $$$!!

Jun 10, 2014, 1:46 PM

$EC! And the SDE from the '11 recruiting class, Jeoffrey Pagan that went to Al that was considered a Clemson lean til the very end. Also, Andrew Williams from last year that went to AU as well... $EC, $EC, $EC!

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Heres mine...#1 Tim Settle...#2 DJ Jones..then..

2. Huggins (we have to win in SC)
3. Bryant
4. Nyheim Hines
5. Bailey

Jun 10, 2014, 6:12 PM

Are we recruiting McCloud as a WR or a RB?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Baily and Boulware

Jun 10, 2014, 6:16 PM

Not sure if we would take both if they wanted to come here but I like the look of those two guys.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Bailey and Huggins. Time to win back Our State!***
