guys are too much of sunshine pumpers and they always give excuses on our program. I want someone to tell it like it is and not give me 10 different excuses as to why we suck this year.
Now call me a coot and etc.....

Things were different for Debo became Coach, but ever since then WCCP apparently has banned any negative talk about Clemson. It’s a very one-sided view anymore. There’s plenty to criticize this year.

CNN feels they wouldn’t exist if they were honest and said negative things about the potential guests who they want to come on the show and who they feel are important to their survival. Now replace the word CNN with WCCP.
I’ll admit I used to listen to that station however it just became too homerized. No one wants all negativity but the spin job they did on the baseball program last year just turned me off

President Biden messed his pants, again, a >#2< in this latest episode (perCNBC), rumors swirling that a member of his b!+ch VP's staff slipped the commander and chief a laxative- (The President & VP"s relationship has become increasingly volatile, described by an unnamed staffer as having "an atmosphere of hostility")

Well don't listen to them, just listen to the podcast of some of our coaches post game press conferences this year ;Most have been nothing but excuses. But at least you would be getting them from the coaches point of view, and not those sunshine pumpers.

Mickey didn't used to be as homerized as he is now......

he used to "call it like it is"............I agree though, so many injury, inexperience excuses.
Two things to that:
#1. Our OFFENSE was ATROCIOUS prior to the injuries adding up #2. There have been injuries/transfers on BOTH SIDES of the ball, why has the DEFENSE stayed fairly consistent, but our offense has turned into HOT GARBAGE??.......Offensive Coaching Staff??

Not to mention Garbage know it all fans who whine and complain all the time!!! God you people make Cooter fans look classy. This coach and staff won 2 National Championships and they have a down offensive year snd you cry like 2 year old brats. Please oh please find another team to root for because Clemson does not need or want you fair weather “fans” ie LOSERS

this isn't ONE down offensive year.......

signs were there starting LSU 2019 (LSU was mediocre defense that year). Continued Ohio State 2020 (Ohio State was a mediocre defense that year).
The ACC (especially the last 3 years) can MASK any problems (offensively or defensively). The offense didn't just NOW this year start looking bad............signs have been there, they're just now more obvious.

Coaching is obviously a big factor, but it also starts and ends at the lines IMO. We've continued to have great players on the DL. On offense if you can't run the ball consistently it's going to make things much harder. You constantly get yourself into 3rd and long situations or even struggling to gain 1st downs on 3rd and short because you can't consistently rely on your running game to pick up those short yards. That's not even to mention the limits in the passing game when your QB is constantly feeling pressure.
On defense if you stop the run consistently then you're making things much harder on the other teams offense. You're constantly putting the other team in 3rd and long situations and even making it hard for them to gain 1st downs on 3rd and short because they can't consistently rely on their running game to pick up those short yards. That's not even to mention the limits in their passing game because their QB is constantly feeling pressure.
Imagine though our DL struggling to stop the run consistently and having a hard time getting pressure on the QB. You can have great players at other positions but you're going to struggle if you aren't winning the battle at the LOS.

I am as upset as anyone regarding our poor play especially DJ and our offensive line, but you can’t discount the overwhelming injury totals. It destroys chemistry and forces unproven players into action. Mickey and others may be “sunshine pumpers,” but they are correct in that this year has seen an unbelievable disruption due to injuries. It is so easy to cast blame.

Injuries is a scapegoat, 3rd game of the season, our opponent in full rebuild mode with the added difficulty of transitioning their offensive scheme from the triple option to a spread O. Our opp was defeated by Northern Illinois in Atlanta a couple of weeks earlier. With our roster, we should be able to win by 14 with the 3rd string when facing Accb uWe were lucky to win. We played a total 5 OL for the game. Staff didn't trust the rest against the "vaunted" Georgia Tech Dline. Whole game was a mammoth sized red flag signifying"We are f..ed"-
