Next year for sure. This year I hope so but probably best to set expectations for the kids at a realistic level. He’s a true freshman coming off an ACL tear and fast rebound.
It took Amari a year to be comfortable on it so while hoping Randall is a game changer for this offense probably more reality says next year he is.
Although good news is next year having a hopefully 100% and confident Randall to pair what looks to be a budding star in Williams we should be much improved.

So Amari streaking down the sideline on his first game back for like 80 yards or something like that was him being uncomfortable on it? When Amari came back Dabo said he tried to keep holding him but he passed every test they threw at him. That doesn't sound like someone who was uncomfortable on his ACL. Randall will be a game changer on offense. I agree.

I'd say he looked pretty comfortable on the knee this game with 121 yds and 2 TD's

Great call he had 1 good game you like to highlight. Try being reasonable though as stats are your friend.
The year before his ACL tear (2018) he played in 15 games catching 55 passes for 575 yards and 4 TDs. I would consider this a good year ready to have a breakout year
Amari tears his ACL spring of 2019 and comes back to that fall to play in 13 games catching 30 balls for 426 yards and 4 TDs.
Assuming math is a good data point that is taking a slight step back, I would argue negligible on backwards but certainly not a big contributor.
A year later in 2020 he plays in 12 games catching 77 passes for 1020 yards and 7 TDs. A real shot in the arm for his offense.
So yes I’d argue it took him a solid year not only to rebound physically but mentally as well. Like I said I sure hope AR puts up big numbers but over the course of the year I’d expect it to be average with his breakout year next year if stays healthy.

It literally did not take Amari a year to get comfortable and Adams ACL tear was the best case scenario for a tear like that. He’s been fully operational in practice for weeks now, he might not be 100% but even at 80% he’s as good as anyone else we have right now. The kid has the drive to be great even with a hood tear you don’t come back this quickly without being a hard worker.

likely but it may be a few games, he seems to have a bit of the Justyn Ross vibe to him, but you need to see in a game. After La Tech the picture will be come more clear.

He may or may not … When healthy- I feel he will have the opportunity…
Antonio Williams is getting meaningful snaps… Randall will too…
Both may be starters before year’s end…

Amari came back very strong. Trevor also impressed me in how quickly he released the ball.

I agree he's a BEAST, providing the O line holds up & the QB has the accuracy to hit him. fingers crossed ?
