Normally a game like today would make a RB leave with no questions ask since NFL RBs have such a short shelf life. However, with the RB position so devalued in the NFL and NIL, it should be a pretty easy decision for him to stay. I know he has a child, but he likely won't make much more as a 5th or 6th round draft pick than he get in NIL. Now if we can't get the NIL numbers to at least match up with what guys drafted in that area make (which means pull some of Shipley money), then he should leave IMO.

Lol yall really don't understand what NIL is. This is not a contract between the school and athlete, you can't just go "take" money someone else recieved for their name image and likeness. In the NFL guys can can restructure contracts to free up salary cap but teams don't tell them to give up their advertising money to give to another player. So none of what you insinuated makes sense to me.

Forget what it is suppose to be. We all know what it is. It is school and it is school negotiating on behalf of the players. If you don't think there is also a pot of money that NIL is being pulled from, then I have some sand to sell you in a dessert.
