Not sure if anyone cares - but I do!
Here’s how we can lose to wake and still get the 4th seed.

If wake loses tonight (so far so good)!!!!
And Pitt loses tonight or to State (can’t lose both - but lose 1)
And we lose to wake

We would be in a 3-way tie for 4th and at that point they go to combined ACC record vs the teams that are tied.

Any way you put it we have the best combined record vs the teams that could be tied for 4th.

So let’s go jackets and let’s hope Pitt goes 1-1

Or the easy route is…. BEAT WAKE!!!

Wake would hold the tiebreaker over us if we lose to them and there is a 3 way tie.

We only play wake forest 1 time. If we lose to them then they hold the tiebreaker. We hold the tiebreakers over both Pitt and Florida state.

But not a 4 or 5 way. SU would already be the 3rd team Pitt

Pitt - you just missed that it would actually be a 4 way tie (SU is 11-9), the 4 way tie is what gets us the nod over WF even with a L to them. FSU can also join into a 4 way tie with us, WF and SU. Or 5 with Pitt. All 4 or 5 way ties will go Clemson’s way at this point. We only lose in the 3 way with SU and WF.
