Looking back on last nights Raiders / Chargers game from

the O-Line standpoint, the Raiders were incredibly fortunate to win, in one aspect. Whenever THEY called a pass play, David Carr was running for his life most of the time. Herbert, on the other hand, had pretty doggone good protection, for the most part. And, he showed once again that he has an ACCURATE rocket arm connected to his shoulder.

The Raiders suddenly realized that with the Chargers D-Line just selling out against the pass, they could RUN the ball. And so, they did, until finally this made the Chargers back off a little on the rush. It turned out to be the late key to victory.

The difference in pass rush intensity was easily visible, though. Carr had double clouds of white jerseys already almost behind him from the snap. Herbert's guys were at least almost breaking even from a "giving ground" standpoint.

The Chargers were able to hold (literally) off the Raider rush with the exception of #98 for the most part. That guy played like The Mad Stork (Ted Hendricks) of Old.

A great and entertaining Pro football game.

Raiders would have 3 more wins with Justin at qb. DC is good at times. But Justin is a future star in the making. Just my opinion

I was upset that the Raiders didn't let the clock run out for the tie....On a night they paid their respects to the biggest icon in franchise history I thought it would've been just awesome to payback the Steelers for the immaculate reception
