I know what you mean. I live in Virginia and most of my co-workers are VT fans. My wife also worked at VT for several years and she really got a strong dose of them.

I guess the exception is living in Virginia near Washington where those people have probably never heard of Virginia Tech, or UVA, and never seen a sporting event in their life and could care less.
