It's time for Chad Morris to leave.

I'm fed up with folks thinking he's the founder and author of our success. This is the only way for Dabo to prove he's the man.
No disrespect to Coach Morris intended but I'll not grieve if he goes. I don't think he's ready and I think Vandy knows it. I suspect Dabo will have to wait to prove my point.

I'm guessing bob was there as well. Probably jealous of GWP's shoes or outfit. Let me guess, "He's to big for that dress" or something along those lines.....

He may not be the "founder and author of our success", but

Clemson's won 32 games in the 3 seasons he's been here
I'm relatively certain Tiger football's never done that before---including back-to-back 11 game winning seasons.
If he gets the Vandy offer and accepts, I'll understand and wish him well, particularly against the chickens. But I"m not particularly anxious to run him off, either.

2 games more (acccg's) than we used to play. i still don't think we are as dominate right now, as we were in the '80's. our opponents used to actually dread playing us, and i don't think we're quite at that level, yet.

I'm sick and tired of folks impeaching Dabo's coaching ability and giving his thunder to Chad.
Chad has a system that anyone could have learned. I give him credit for seeing the future of football but Dabo deserves the same credit.
Beside's that, those who point out how many games we've won since Chad came on board are selectively ignoring that it happened after Dabo's developing linemen. Those kids in after we hired Chad didn't know anything about Chad. They came to Clemson, period.
I'm sensitive when Dabo has to share the credit for our success with anyone. Did Chad help, you ### right. Is Venables the best thing that happened to our D since Danny, effin A. Can they be replaced, sure as chit.
Do I want either to leave, no but at this point I'm fed up with those who ignore Dabo's accomplishment enough to have Chad replaced just so Dabo can can the respect he deserves.
I have little criticism for Chad but it's almost impossible to give Dabo credit when everyone believes Chad is anything more than a coordinator.
You see the great programs change OC and DC often. The HC gets the credit for the wins. That's the way I want it here. I want our success attributed to the man who deserves it, DABO!

great assistants. You can't win without them. Dabo has been able to do that and Chad is a great one. They both deserve great praise esp for Dabo to go out and get a guy like Chad. Dabo doesn't have to prove anything.

most folks are worried about Chad leaving. Half the Tiger Fans on Tnet are taking xanax over the rumors. This stems from their belief that Dabo is a cheerleader, a WR coach and a real estate agent and isn't a HC. They've read that lie everywhere and heard it all over. They believe it or they wouldn't be so torn up about Chad leaving.
MORONS!

Dabo is #### lucky Clemson is willing to pay Chad and Venty. We see the results before and after the two were hired. Chad has help vault the O to new heights and Venty has totally revamped the d. Dabo can recruit, Ill give him that. But without Chad you have a guy with an unplugged headset, wearing a Kmart sweatshirt, and holding a chinese menu. The emperor has no clothes.

Go back to your delusional poker game "all in". That gets you a 7-6 record and loss in the Continental Tire Bowl. Wake up and face the facts sucker.

You are dead wrong on this one,

and I typically agree with you. Let's give up one of the hottest OCs in the nation who knows our players and Clemson system and hire somebody who has to learn the process, the personnel, and is behind in recruiting. Why? Because 1988 needs to prove that Dabo is the real coach and show how right he is? Come on man. We will take a hit, even if it's minor like losing a few recruits, when Chad goes and have no guarantee of someone better. Before you go wishing somebody out of town, it be good to know who is better that you're going to bring in..

not disagreeing, but there is no doubt dabo has a list

of candidates for every position on his staff.
dabo hired some dood from tejas, 1 year removed from hs with only 1 yr OC college coaching experience at a mid-major. this same tejas dood was almost out of coaching altogether a few years prior.
all of this coming off a 6-7 season with serious concerns about his future at clemson, dabo & staff went on to sign a top 10 class & keep a guy like allen on campus.
it's a bump in the road, one good programs should expect.
