Bad coaching … it almost seems like in those moments Brownell just watched the game and forgets to coach.

I'm don't know as much about basketball as the coach but to me it seems like the best thing to do after they score is bring it to half court and call time out and set up a final sgot instead a rushed shot to end the game .

Because we throw the ball inbounds like a jr. high team. Good NCAA tourney-worthy teams with good coaches do not lose 10 pt. leads at home to mediocre NC State teams. It is time to cut the Brown L cord !!

When you call time out to "set up a play" you also let the Defense get back.
And they set up. And now they are between us and the basket.
Most good coaches let them play in same scenario. I am sure they practice this scenario often.
We got a run at the rim. A very makable shot that Chase has made many times.
You think we can draw up a play for a better shot than that?

We lost because we missed some easy shots at the basket and Because we had some bad turnovers. Not because of that last play.

Everyone who cares about Clemson- students, alumni, players and all other fans, deserve better than Brownell. He is a large part of our problem. This is probably the most talented team we’ve had for some time, and next year a large number of these players will be gone. It isn’t going to get any better. But it’s a good time for a change. For the love of might, get us a coach, PLEASE!

My biggest issue with this game was in the first half. It was obvious that state was going to pressure high and all the way down the court. Brad didn't call a timeout to address and waited until half. We need to be able to break a press and score easy points against a light press. That's on Brad.
