To be honest, I don’t think we deserve to be in if we lose to any of the remaining teams. I don’t think we will lose but just sayin.

No it wont be guaranteed at all. Why would our resume put us in with 1 loss over SEC teams with 1 loss. It doeant put us in. We actually very well could be out.

Just use their logic of 4 best teams. There is no way in heck there are 4 teams better than us. Everyone just refers to games as the resume but part of it is talent,

There could easily be 4 teams better than us. Who knows? There is a long season left. We dont know who everyone is. If we lose a game on our schedule, there could easily be 4 teams better who may get the nod. We need to go undefeated.

Actually lol is correct as strength of schedule is not the term you would choose for our opponents this year!

The best team is in... it’s relative, what would a “challenging” schedule even look like... all AP ranked opponents on the road maybe...FYI Florida is top ten team. I’m sure that strikes fear in everyone.

We win out,we are in. If we lose one, we would need, IMO, a lot of help.

All of the teams looking like world-beaters right now won't be by the time those decisions are made. And, yes, if we win out we are in the CFP.

Would honestly depend on who we lost to and the circumstances.
Lose to Wofford - yeah we're probably not getting in with 1 loss.
Lose to any of the other P5 Teams close? We'd certainly have a good case to still make it as long it's not the ACC Champ Game.
Clemon is a strong brand right now - feels good!

Absolutely not. No way a defending champ undefeated having beat two hallowed SEC bums gets kept out. If somebody beats us, yeah

Undefeated National Champions have another subsequent undefeated season, and you’re asking if we may be left out of the playoff?

If the defending snaps go undefeated, especially if they beat the snot out of everyone they play, there's no way they don't make the playoffs. Now if they drop a game all bets are off.

No. Two reasons.
Sep 22, 2019, 8:17 AM
|
|
1. There won't be five unbeaten teams at the end of the season. Any team with 0 losses is in.
2. Even if there are 8 teams with 0 or 1 loss (which there won't be), a 0 loss Clemson team is a lock.

Conferences have an undefeated champ, but even then, doubtful. With Notre Dame losing, the undefeated returning champ who crushed Notre Dame and Bama last year will get the nod. Probably over the PAC12 champ, which would have to be Cal at this point I think?

Very valid question. But undefeated gets us in. If we lose one i think it gets very dicey. To be honest, if we are number one, we shouldnt lose to who we have left to play.
We won 52-10 tonight, but we could have won 100- 10 had we really wanted. Most people know that.
