Tarhole fans

Why is it that almost every tarhole fan says that the ncaa has no case against them because the school offered fraudulent classes to everyone instead of just athletes? I understand the point but they act like there is nothing to see move along. Fraudulent classes are an obvious violation and I would think any academic institution that cared about it's reputation would not only see the problem but act quickly to fix it. Up until this whole thing happened, UNC had a pretty decent reputation as far as academics go.

Tarhole fans argument is ludicrous.

Of course the Cheatholes had to offer the fake classes to everybody.
It would have been a big "red flag" if they had classes just for basketball and football players.
Obviously when the non athlete students heard about them they signed up for them.

I can tell you that I know that is what happened. I am friends with several ex students who took advantage of this 'opportunity'! Nothing wrong with allowing guys who read at the six grade level to represent your university against teams who play by the rules ... Is there ?
I remember just a few years ago many of you were upset because unc signed guys who our admissions office declined. Aren't you glad our Tigers do it the right way? Personally,I would be very hurt if Clemson was in the headlines instead of the Smurfs

What really burns me up is how its "not a big deal" now! In the early eighties, these same blue bellies led the charge against us, and made sure we got an extra year of probation from the conference. One of their main arguments was that we had hurt the "academic reputation" of the conference! Really! Never liked them, never will, hope they get what they "deserve"!

It's been 35 years. Revenge is a dish best served cold. Sanctimonious a-holes! The shoe is on the other foot now and it's time for them to pay for their sins. Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch.

Clemson. It's a fact UNC supported that measure and voted to add the year. There is some debate whether the whole thing was led by UNC. But it doesn't really matter at this point. The ACC should add an extra year probation to whatever the NCAA gives UNC. This is the worst academic fraud case in the history of the ACC.

Sanctimonious bunch of a-holes. This is Karma at it's best. The old "what goes around comes around" thing in action. Glad I've lived long enough to see it finally happen.

...and their fans, there was some loyalty there from Maryland. I still somewhat miss the annual shootout with the Terps in football. It was a good rivalry that lasted longer than another other football rivalry in the ACC.
I always liked the rivalry with the Terps for what it was, and their standing by Clemson during those tough days.

F McGuire was a great coach who ended up in cooterville. What does that tell you?

I have heard for 10 years, 10 years! UNC was on the verge of probabtion. And actually, we could go back maybe 16 or 17 years I believe when J Peppers played. And nothing ever becomes of it.

It was always a farce, but now it's a joke at their expense that we get to use for eternity! Clemson is a better school with a better football program. Period.

The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) is a non-profit association which regulates athletes of 1,281 institutions, conferences, organizations, and individuals.
That is what the NCAA says it is and does. It is crystal clear that athletes taking fake classes falls under the NCAA's normal area of operations. Tarhole's defiance is a big problem, defiance of facts, defiance of truth, defiance of authority, defiance of fair play. It's time to send a message. Simple as that.
