Watched The Untouchables last night

Consider this part 2 of me watching movies that are old AF for the first time....
No hot chicks.
Connery, De Niro, Costner.
It was okay. I've been wanting to watch it since Netflix was done via mail-out DVDs.
Not bad. Parts were violent, parts made it seem like a Disney movie (specifically the background soundtrack). Some interesting camera angles at times.
I give it a meh+ out of 7.
It did give me a good pre-match speech to give my boy before his wrestling matches, though:

Really liked this way back when it came out but rewatched some of it recently and also found it pretty meh. Some movies just don't age as well as others.

Thought it was fantastic when it came out, and just tedious this time. I Wonder why perception changes so much over time.

First time you watched you probably saw women through the eyes of Chris O’Donnell. Women were this alluring mystery to be figured out. Now you’re AF and know that isn’t possible.

Maybe that's why he was cast as Elliot Ness. If he has a dark side, he doesn't know how to express it.
The rest of the cast is great and I think the tone and the score were intended to be an homage to classic Hollywood gangster movies, like how the scene wipes in Star Wars were an homage to Akira Kurosawa. Not surprisingly, Brian DePalma was friends with George Lucas.
