I suspect Dabo and Garrett have it covered and no need for any fan to worry. In fact a fan of any sport should never waste one second worrying about something they have no control over. I have enough on my plate without adding Dabo's job to it. Some one will fill the slot.
And we never count coots.

Seems I read a post over the weekend that we were courting a RB from ole miss, ( whom most posted was a bad apple).
Point being, are we really pursuing a RB in the portal? I personally like our room. Hopefully Ez comes in ready to rumble.

Just to make sure I understand, a real fan would never worry about anything they can’t control? That breaks the definition of fan. Fan I short for fanatic. Would a fanatic worry about things they can’t control? I’d say yes. I know I worded it slightly different. If we followed the rules of English (which I rarely do), wouldn’t your statement be a double negative rendering my response moot?
In all seriousness, everyone worries about things they can’t control. It’s human nature. We can’t control the weather yet we worry if it’s going to rain on GameDay in Death Valley. We worry about the price of things when the government claims 3% inflation and the real number is closer to 25%. That’s another conversation for another message board.
Mafah could be gone. Truth be told, he was the only RB in the RB room with a shot at playing in the pros. Shipley might make a team as a special teams player. I expect he will bounce from practice team to practice team before getting into coaching or selling cars.
I also agree we would never count coots. They think spurs up is a good thing. We all know that’s just a dead chicken.

Wish Ship would have stayed for another year. Still think he has a better future going to Med School than the Pros. Making this statement based on his grades as an undergraduate.

Maybe the more accurate reflection is that we have no impact on it whether we worry or not...

Mafah has 14 more inches per rush than Shipley, plus Ship is a far better

receiver out of the backfield.
So why does Mafah make such a better pro than Shipley. His size?

"should" not worry

we can’t control the weather yet we worry if it’s going to rain on GameDay in Death Valley. but you can control what you wear.. so you have a direct impact on the outcome.
We worry about the price of things when the government claims 3% inflation and the real number is closer to 25%. That’s another conversation for another message board. cause you can vote for different people so you have control of the outcome
As a fanatic the only thing you really have any say in is your attitude. So you can choose to be a worry wort if you want. or a pumper.. or anything you want. All of them have the same impact on the actual outcome.

You shouldn’t get all worked up. Phil will be back in orange next season. Calm down, lol

would have a bit higher of a ceiling than "selling cars". Not that there is a thing wrong with that, but I suspect if Ship were to enter the "corporate world" it would not be at Piedmont Honda or Ralph Hayes Toyota

He hasn’t, but we had a recruit say he would be here leading the running back room. He would also be the mentor for the younger backs. He also stated ship was headed to the NFL before ship declared. I’m assuming a recruit is in the know more than anyone on this board outside of DHood.

Although I think it’d be nice to hear his intentions, we may not hear anything from Mafah given that not everyone who stays makes an announcement.
