Nothing has hurt me like losing my Mother who was so special to me.
I feel so empty but she is in heaven and I will see her again one day.

I can empathize with you. I lost my grandmother in 2003 and my mother in 2013, my father in 2005 and my grandfather in 2002. I lived with my grandparents since I was 1 all the way up until I moved but at the age of 19. I had an extremely good relationship with my mother all the way to the end. When I lost my grandmother and then mother in 2013 it made me feel like I lost my mother twice. The thing that troubles me the most I believe is that it has been so long you forget their face and their voice. You always have the memories, they never go away, but I struggle to reimagine what they looked like and sounded like.
The most important thing to remember is that they are still a life to live and loved ones here to pass on the love to that our mothers gave us. We will see them again.
Even though our earthly parents have left us, we have a Heavenly Father that will not leave us of forsake us!

My mother has been gone about 10 years and even though I'm in my 70s I miss her so much. I think about her every single day and am so thankful that I have a lot of good memories to treasure. Yesterday I used her old cookbook to make a family favorite for Thanksgiving. It's a blessing that I can remember her with no regrets and know that we will be together again some day.
