But even if he did, I have zero guilt about it after the egregious non-calls we have been victims of this year. This year alone, poor officiating cost us at least two games, if not more.
So he can cry about it all he wants, I truly don't care.

Agree of costing us two games. I am glad Brad called the head of officials from what I heard. My Grandfather always said the axle that makes the most noise gets the grease. 😁Duke and NC have been intimidating officials since this conference started. You can throw NC State in there as well.

It was a very physical game. Pitt is big and physical and they wore us out in the first half. Their bigs were climbing all over our guys. Very proud of our team for sacking up and matching their physicality. Thats what winners do and it was darn good to see!!

So I have the game via Youtube TV and took screenshots.
Pitt Coach has a point, but calls and fouls and etc. are missed throughout the game. Clemson is not playing cheap. This is not a Rick Barnes Bruiser Squad.
Video and phot shows:
Chase goes to make a solid screen in the paint. But as the play develops, Chase does slide just a bit to his right and checks the Pitt player with an elbow and perhaps his hip. The elbow hits the guy right in his ribs.
Nobody sees it. When you look for it, it is pretty obvious. But it happens in an instant. So a ref's eyes would have to be watching that exact area and that exact play.
Funny thing is the baseline ref was watching what was going on under the rim, looking right at that play. He was not blocked by any player. So clear view to see it. Perhaps he blinked right when Chase slid over and hit his elbow right elbow in the Pitt Center's side, that soft area about 3 inches under the armpit.

That's the Duke Attitude that rubbed off on him. Duke players would genuinely act like the other team was doing something wrong trying to win the game against them.
