He’s had no time to throw. Coaches calling a terrible game. Line can’t block. Receivers can’t get open. What would you have him do?

It’s not all on him, but he should know by now at this point in his career how to pick up on the pressure and get rid of the ball.

His release is much too slow. He stares down his primary receiver. He can’t extend a play. I’m sure he is a fine person but we have seen two years of the same thing.
It’s not a one man game but DJ isn’t the answer.

His indecision, he throws off platform constantly leading the ball to fade, his lack of touch even on short passes, and he misses reads on the zone read regularly.
The coaches call the plays they think their QB can execute. Most of his plays are single read or single pass meaning he's not good at surveying the field unless he has a ton of time. They're scared to let him throw over the middle. The only time he throws over 15 yards is on the sideline so the worst case scenario is an incomplete pass.
Bottom line we need to put Cade in for a spark. We're going to lose with DJ so why not at least try?
