No legitimate top 10 team struggles to beat Vanderbilt and Tennessee.
Tennessee is not a good team (poorly coached and undisciplined) yet they piled-up nearly 500 yards of total offense against the vaunted $CU defense.

Or something like that. Limit the max margin of victory bracket so that people arent running up the score on each other, but a 3 point victory over TN shouldnt count the same as a 20 point victory.

UT is a good team on offense with no defense. I know they only beat that tough NC State team by +2 td's but would you bet that UT couldn't win the Coastal division? That division is awful and if ACC had any sense they would tell them they do not qualify for championship and let you and FSU rematch for the BCS bid.
You two are heads and shoulders above the rest.
BCS goes by several polls and strength of schedule is involved. You have played 1 ranked team and therefore your schedule is hurting you. Can you honestly say you've played a stretch of games like the 4 we just played? Again, UT may not be great but they sure handled an ACC team that you were pointing to as a tough game.

The $EC isn't nearly as good at $CU fans pretent it is. The league benefits greatly from grossly over-inflated preseason rankings.
E$ecPN had Arkansas in its pre-season top 10.

But it is what it is and NC State was playing like crap earlier in the year. Not saying they are great, but they are certainly playing much better. Haven't seen much out of Tenn until Saturday.

The NC State team that just lost to UNC, who lost to Duke? The same NC State that beat MD when Maryland's 4th string qb took them on last minute drive but kicker missed chip shot?
I guarantee you UT would rather see NC State, Duke, WF, Virginia, Md, BC, UNC, Miami and Va Tech than UGA, Bama, Florida, South Carolina, LSU, or Ms State.
Geez, I was giving you guys credit for being one of top teams in your conference but if you think ACC is even close to SEC you are crazy. Just watch the games, talent level other than FSU and Clemson is no comparison.
I would say Vandy could finish in top half of either division of ACC and may could win the coastal, that side stinks and all but those with tinted glasses knows it.
You have a division in your conference that does not have 1 ranked team!!
You can complain about BCS but many of the guys on your board warned you about this when the Big 12 talk came up. You are being penalized for playing in the worst conference in the country.

Drops and little miscues in the redzone kept it from being worse than it was. I was never once worried about losing that game while watching it. If we played now, we'd run them out of whatever stadium the game was played at.

List the quality wins, list the tough road games other than FSU you've played?

That is why Clemson should be ranked higher than USC. Because when you watch the two teams play, Clemson looks better. That is why both of the human polls have Clemson ranked higher... because we look better.
The schedule is the schedule... we don't have any control over that.

You look better?? That is the point, you look good when playing crappy teams. How do you know how good you are when the level of competition is so bad.
Ga Tech took you to the 4th quarter, they just gave up +40 to a BYU team that has no offense. They gave up 48 to MTSU at home!!
Va Tech was 17-10 thru the 3rd quarter, they are not ggod at all. Pitt destroyed them.
Our offense looked lights out against ECU but that is not the same as LSU, Fl or UGA. Heck Roseanne Barr looks good compared to a dogs a@#. (ok, maybe she doesn't but you get the point)
Honestly, when you play a team that has no chance of winning how do you know how good you really are? Wake got beat by +50 the week before they played you so because you looked good against them you are now a top 10 team?
You can talk about UGA and Florida all you want but their offensive and defensive fronts would dominate the teams in your league. It is easy to run up big numbers when you have no defense to stop you.
Again, guys on your board called it this past summer and some of you didn't want to believe it but you are not getting national respect because they see the level of competition you're playing.

How do we have any control over that? You can only play the hand that you're dealt. We're in the ACC and will continue to be in this league regardless of how crappy the teams are. We have UGA scheduled next year and several top notch programs scheduled for the future. Clemson has to play an FCS school from the state every year as does South Carolina. We're 7-1 this year with the only loss to FSU. What can we do?
