How do you like your burger

cooked? I unintentionally had my first medium rare burger last night. I usually cook my burger medium, but the patty was thicker than usual, and I could not get it right last night.

On the one hand, I didn't want to overcook it, but on the other, I was a little worried about getting sick from it. So far, so good though.

I usually go medium but would rather have it closer to medium rare than medium well.

I like mine with lettuce and tomato (not really), Heinz 57 and french-fried potatoes.
Heaven on earth with an onion slice
Big kosher pickle and a cold draft beer
(actually, DP Zero)

Preparation - medium rare to medium
Cheese - provolone, mild cheddar, bleu, gouda, or a combination of those.

for some reason I like my burgers cooked through, but the taste of a well done steak is not good to me.

Anyone who likes steak above medium rare is not enjoying their steak.

And, if you put ketchup on it, you are mentally unstable.

cooked Medium Well to Well. You probably shouldn't trust restaurants for having the freshest ground beef. That beef has had a long ride since the pasture.
