Probably a bigger loss for the baseball team than the football team.

Now come on, he def would have made it into clemson and will probably become a good player, he only played football for 1 year and got offers from clemson and Tennessee. The coaches thought he would make it and I trust them over you anyday no disrespect lol. We don't need to be the fans that turn on a guy when he doesn't come to clemson. Sound like a butt hurt 15 year old girl saying he prob wouldn't have made it into clemson come on bro. Might be sarcasm hard to tell tbh but if not no need for that talk. Go Tigers!!

If he doesn't have the basic intelligence to pick Clemson over Tennessee, then he's going to really struggle on the SATs.

Dabo was a walk-on, maybe he don't speak the language?

Look at some of the walk-ons on his staff and the positions of power they hold, I mean at worst, Dabo's guilty of favoritism and has lost his way?
Jeff Scott Tony Elliott Brent Venables
Really, how are these guys expected to understand the mind of 3 star?
Maybe they're in over their heads and it's time to move on - they certainly looked lost against Alabama?

Yeah with top programs in both you would have thought it would have been Clemson all the way. Just looked it up and there baseball team was 27-25 last year. I don’t know what drew him to Tennessee. Guess he wants to be at a mediocre/###### athletics school.

Too bad 4 you flower and hope you dry up in that cesspool. May have bloomed here and the best coaches in football was willing to give you a chance. Enjoy playing in that "big" stadium as you called it. Guess that's what floats your boat. That is, if you even see the field.

Truly amazing that a kid would pick UT with all that noise over Clemson when he knows that we need DBs at Clemson and playing time would probably come sooner rather than later. Maybe that's it, he could probably play at UT as a true freshman?

Expected this....

In my opinion, this feels like his choice has more to do with our recruiting honesty than anything. We probably told him he could do both baseball and football, but since we were burning a football scholly on him, football would have to come first. And that he would probably have to wait his turn to play at safety for us, unless he had a stellar fall practice. He indicated that he wanted early playing time in football. A tall order for someone who has only played one year of high school ball. I am not saying this could not be done, but.....In the end he was a good athlete that probably would have to develop for 2-3 yrs before seeing the field, and he probably wasn't willing to sit. JMHO

... he may turn out to be an amazing athlete, but at this point he would have had to have been viewed as a "project" in football.
Baseball? Who knows ...
But, this is a football scholarship we were going to be spending.

Best of luck to him, he was sold on the "bigger" school with so many more people as he put it. Which is fine, both parties will be fine.
