"I know your da** name", lol. I can just picture coach Ford saying it. Great speech too in the vid. This guy will always be one of my favorite Tiger players.

One of my favorite Tigers ever!!
Watch the '89 Gator bowl if you never got to see him play.
One of his most memorable plays in his NFL career for me was watching Levon cover a TE about 18 yards and break up a pass in the end zone. Kirkland probably weighed about 275 at the time. Amazing.

He would’ve been ejected for targeting on the play at 1:18 in this video in today’s game.

This brought a tear to my eye.I was there with my brother and my late brother in law.I had a dummy of Major Harris hanging in a tree and I guess today someone would have called me racist and insensitive. Not at all,I just thought Harris was a dummy and his momma didn't want him to get hurt.I got the rope from an old lady who reeked of alcohol.I always wondered where in the hell she got it from. The glory days of face paint, lights in my orange wig and a tiger cape.It was a blessing to have been there. And when Chester" The Molester " Glockton got that TD,I thought the stadium would fall in.I swear the crowd was so different back then. Also a shout out to number 93,Ed McDaniel,an undersized line backer with a tackling ability to match anyone. So when I see all the negativity and vitriol on this site, I just laugh,I have been blessed with the Tigers I saw.I have sat in the South stands and watched the sun set over the mountains as the alma mater was being sung. Most people don't know how to give thanks and accept blessings anymore.Hail to Clemson,we will triumph. If I never step foot into Death Valley again,I will never lose the feeling.I am old school and I will always bleed orange.Win,lose or draw,I always love the paw.

Yes,number #44 has always been my favorite Tiger on defense. For us old fogies,we should recall the year that we had Levon along with Wayne Simmons,Ashley Sheppard and John Johnson at LB.No national championship, but those were the days.People had more sense and respect and didn't act so rude and retarded like they do now on Tigernet.

I went to that game with my best friend in high school. I was set on going to Clemson after that beat down. Major Harris was never the same after the Tiger defense was done with him.

Funny story about him and his athletic ability. Me and some buddys were working out in the old Golds in Clemson (think it is a church now). Levon came into the boxing room where we were doing jump rope. He grabbed one and said "let me show you how to do this." He was a good 300 lbs and over 40 at the time and looked like a dang middle weight doing the jump rope, quickest feet ive ever seen.

Not a bad idea. What is he doing now. The only concern I have is he had a 2 year stint at Florida a and m? Then dissapeared from coaching.
