I remember when he was the Detroit Lions QB and I find it impossible to believe that he knows anything about being clutch.

last second of the game in 16. This year's game wasn't even clutch. It was a beatdown. No clutch needed. We pulled back and had mercy on them because I know we could have scored 7 and maybe 14 more points on them if we opted not to burn clock with that 10 minute drive.

He has been riding the Clutch and is wearing out the brakes and choking out the engine.

Danielson knows that a clutch is something you press on a manual vehicle in order to change gears, he was raised in the 70's. Other than that, he is clueless!

Great ...... Alabama are a fine team, and I love it when others hype them to the hilt. It just confirms how good we must be to hand them a 28 point loss.

ESPiN schemed for a decade to build the Tide reputation...
Jan 28, 2019, 10:50 AM
|

to where it was three weeks ago. Since the SEC Network founding during the BCS era ESPiN voters voted and pushed SEC teams into the top 25. It was nothing to see 12 of the SEC teams ranked. ESPiN talking heads and other employees of the company have votes but the influence is astounding since they have people in every conference and can interview any coach from any school on a regular basis. ESPiN absolutely controls sports media.
Just as they built up the SEC they tore down the reputations of the other conference with sports media shelf spacing. If they don't cover a team who knows how good that team could be? They over rated teams outside the SEC if one of those teams showed up on an SEC team's schedule adding to the already hyped reputation.
They placed teams in the BCS MNC game knowing that they were serving the best interest of the Network's Fav. ND/Bama is a prime example. They pushed and pushed until they got an all SEC BCS championship.
The only thing they can assure in the Playoff era is that at least one SEC team will be seeded in the playoff. It's still not perfect for all college football teams and when the playoff committee leaves out the SEC for the first time they will push for an expanded field.
Eventually, the field will expand and we'll see two or three SEC teams collecting money from the Playoff. That's just how it is.

He is such a huge Bama and SEC homer, so I would be curious to know how shocked he was to see that his beloved Tide got killed like that.

It's like picking in an actor when he says something dumb in a movie because the screenplay sucks.
