Laptop won't boot, I get bluescreen and error code indicates hardware problem.

Laptop was purchased as new on Amazon April of '23
I check HP warranty page.
1 year warranty expired March of '23, 1 month before I purchased it.

Super.

Once checked the warranty of a toaster oven.

It read (almost) word for word...This toaster oven is warrantied for the life of the toaster oven.

I laughed, shook my head and only hoped the person that thought of this received a bonus.

You simply take a regular fork out of your kitchen and use it to clean out the socket that you had it plugged into. It helps a little more if you wet the fork first to help loosen up the debris inside the socket.

I always pay for the next day send someone out and fix warranty. I can't be without a computer and it has come in handy more than a couple of times. 5 or 6 hundred extra is a no brainer for me. But myh computer is a work computer.
