Beating the SC football team is a Clemson fan's birthright. It should not only be expected, but never in doubt. A broken clock is right two times a day, and it seems by the same law of averages even the Chickens were due. The fifth place rings, Citus wins, and the streak against us was as significant as Hailey's Comet passing by. I'm sure in another hundred years or so they may finish fifth again, and accomplish other feats defying nature. But for now, rest assured things are back in order in South Carolina. Watson will not only lead Clemson to a minimum of two more straight dominant victories over hapless SC, he will lead the way to Clemson cementing the culture of a century's worth of dominance. It'll make the last hundred years seem like glory days for the Coots. Go Tigers!

I firmly believe that will happen. Hopefully we can top 63-17 while Watson is at the helm as well.

Slurrier will leave the team in shambles after another .500 season.

So many players talk about understanding the rivalry after they have been here for a few years... DW gets it now. Very cool.

Does it get any better than this guy? Talent, leadership, toughness - couldn't have a better QB than DW.

At Clemson. I love what Boyd did for this program and all of the hard work he put in but i feel his great career here is overshadowed by the fact he never beat SC. I hope DW can be the first QB since whitehurst to win against the coots every year, and as long as he isn't injured i believe we will see that happen. Go tigers!

I think that we are talented enough ahead of them right now, we won't lose to those feathers the whole time DW4 is at Clemson, and further with what's behind him.
