says that they knew they would lose but expected it to be a much bigger blowout and that they are glad we took it easy on them.
These are the same folks that gleefully flashed the 5 bombs a few years ago. They never saw Dabo and the Clemson juggernaut coming before it steamrolled them.

Yeah, I have noticed the same. First time I can ever remember seeing any genuine humility in the coot fanbase.

I have coot family members that at one point in time were hard to be around at Thanksgiving. Not so much anymore. The conversation pretty much stays clear of college football and we focus on pro football which is fine with me. My wife is overjoyed. She was getting tired of me trying to reason with coots at Thanksgiving.
I like them just the way they are now. However, I was reminded on one of the radio shows yesterday that this is not far from where they have always been prior to the Spurrier era. I think the state of SC is a much nicer place to live in when the coots are quiet.
I don't want them to ever be good at football. I have too many lasting memories of them running their mouths during the 5 year stretch. I would like other members of the ACC to rise up so we can stop all the conversation about our schedule. And I would like another our of conference opponent to be ranked every time we beat and finish the year ranked after we beat them. But I Want the coots to continue on regretting their decision not to attend Clemson or wishing they had been accepted to Clemson.

My friend is an avid gamecock fan and we just don’t talk about the difference in the programs. He told me on Sunday morning, thanks for finally putting us out of our misery.We have been terrible all year and I’m glad it’s finally over with

I've got 8 friends on a text group ( 4 coots). Saturday was crickets. Normally a lot of back and forth during the game.

My son in law is a former Coot player, in their hall of champions, really it's just a foyer, and considered one of the toughest players ever also played MLB. I haven't so much as got a text from him!! lol should I prod the chicken coop?

Always be gracious. Being kind and gracious to coots makes them miserable. They love getting into low class jawing matches. They cant handle graciousness.

They also don't know how to handle winning like during their 5 year win streak against us. They run their mouths incessantly when things are going good. However, I do realize that is a rarity now, except in women's sports.

I like to remind my coot family and friends just to be patient.
