Dabo and Steve have both never met a microphone that they didn't like, that is for sure. That's O.K., because this state game gets more national press and TV coverage than ever before, thanks to those two press manipulators. It's really a win-win for everyone, publicity wise, as long as they pretend to keep their little feud going. As far as coaching goes, Spurrier actually has no pressure on him to live up to past SC glories, because there is very little to live up to. Dabo, however, is constantly faced with the memories and legacy of Danny Ford and those teams from the 1980's , so there is probably more pressure on him to excel each year.

I think the coot just admitted what many of us have said all along. Slurrier Is under no pressure in coot Ville. Win 8 games and they are satisfied.
Didn't either Dabo or Bowden get lambasted for saying pretty much the same about Spurrier?
