in ACC with yards per game average.
And to think many of us critique him and want Mafah to automatically be our #1 back when he has fumbilitis, too.
Yes, Phil got 185+ tough yds and did we need it vs Doomers and great for him & Clemson but both RB’s are good, different & needed.
Did I spell Fumbilitis right?

After the ND game, Mafah was 8th in rushing yards in the ACC and Shipley is 9th.

Mafah just looks different. It’s not that Shipley fumbled a ball here or there that bothers most, it’s his inability to press forward and always succumbs to show string tackles. This is largely just my observation but Mafah seems to break out better.

You didn't realize anything during Saturday's game either, because you're wrong. Shipley is currently 147th in the country in rushing yards per attempt out of all players in college football. He's 22nd in the ACC (I am counting QBs). Mafah is 9th.
