Giving the forecast for NFL playoff cities, she was comparing stats for the QBs. Actually said that Purdy should have an advantage because he is more used to playing in 60 to 70 degrees. How warm is the field where the Lions play? ( Dome dee dome dumb). And how tough is playing in 60 degree weather? ESPN needs to grab her as fast as they can.

Another lady in the press conference before Tampa Bay played Detroit asked Todd Bowles a similar stupid question
“Looking forward to Detroit, the weather has been a factor in some of the playoff games, even for the most prepared teams. Today, it’s 13 in Detroit,” the reporter said. “Any special plans to acclimate the team to not only endure but perform in those kind of frigid temperatures should you face (the Lions) in Detroit?”
“You do know we play indoors, right? They got a dome,” Bowles said

I think it’s not too much to ask that a reporter just check and see if the lions play in a temperature controlled environment before asking a question that makes them look clueless…..

a weather report on The Weather Channel, and people jump on here like its the end of the world and proves hiring practices are bad. I mean, Jesus, we must have so many flawless workers on this board and I can't imagine why productivity and efficiency isn't off the charts for South Carolina. I mean, we should have the best economy in the world with the quality of work all people with this viewpoint must have.
People seemingly upset about the state of the country because a lady on the weather channel didn’t grasp that the Lions play indoors astounds me.

My main concern was that she was saying that playing in 60 to 70 degree weather gave the SF QB an advantage over the one from a colder climate - being a weather expert, she should know that is near perfect temp for any player.

the NBA. It's pretty legendary, pretty sure even in Bulls record season they took a loss to a pretty poor Heat team due to 'blowing off steam' in Miami.
I had a friend who was in the NBA for a while in management…many franchises hated multi-day stays in Miami for the team, they'd rather have the players have a couple extra days in Charlotte or OKC.

It’s an unbelievable day atop the Blue Ridge mountains in NC. May get up to 70 today. Not a typical January.
Today would have been my brides 81st birthday had she beat the cancer bug of 1986! It would have been a great day for a picnic on the parkway.
