Dennis Dodd is being interviewed by 92.9 in ATL right now...Dodd just said Fields is a combination of Deshaun Watson, Aaron Rodgers, and Brett Favre....And we think the Trevor Lawrence hype train is out of control?

He is not near good enough to be making such comparisons. He wasn’t even the best QB in last year’s class.

Been hearing murmurs that Fields is the real deal. Jake's taken him under wing and Chaney has installed specific packages for Justin.....more especially red zone packages. It's pretty clear TLaw would be JF's backup. Why Dabo took a pro-setter and Kirby ended up with the DT we may never know but we're happy.

Remind me again what fields did in high school and how many championships he won and exactly how in your feeble mind you can come to a Clemson board and talk smack like you do and are still here? Fields couldn't hold TL's jockstrap, I know it hurts, but lolligag on away back to the dawgie board where there are others living in your dream world.

You’re out of your mind if you think Lawrence would back up Fields.

You assume this because they are making red zone packages for him and they think he’s the real deal? Did it ever occur to you why they are making special red zone packages for him? I will tell you why: it’s because he’s a big running QB and good at it too. However he is an incomplete QB. I’d rather have a gunslinger which Fields is not. I would rather not use my quarterback as a battering ram on the goal line. If you don’t think TL can run you obviously haven’t watched him very much but I assure you we will not be making “special red zone packages” to use him as another running back. The fact that you guys are doing that with Fields should tell you what you really have and it only confirms what I’ve seen on film. Have fun with the next Jalen Hurts/ JT Barrett. Great athletes but they are not elite QBs.

You can’t be serious. Lawrence was listed as the best player rivals has ever rated. End of story.
If Fields was at Clemson he would be third on the depth chart behind Lawrence

Just to make sure that's backed up as not a Tigernet opinion:
https://n.rivals.com/news/the-best-of-rivals-com-the-top-quarterbacks-in-our-history
Where's Fields in that, super? I know where they say Lawrence is.... Above Fields. Is that Lawrence #1 EVER in history. Fields #2 2018 only?? Enjoy your Jalen 2.0.... And read this in that article. "To me, despite Fields being No. 2 in the country, IT WASN'T THAT CLOSE between the two, as I liked Lawrence better."

Pretty impressive for sure. A guy like that would have most certainly won the Elite 11:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BRU0YtJayKE&list=PLtJu4K14fcedD4TT4rDW1OfBrdK2QB3dh&index=6
(or not) LOL. When Superman can’t quite get over that tall building, he calls Justin Fields for help (he doesn’t know who Trevor Lawrence is). Chuck Norris has Justin Fields on speed dial (he doesn’t talk to guys who didn’t win the Elite 11). The truth is Trevor Lawrence wears Justin Fields pajamas when he goes to sleep. When Trevor Lawrence goes to the swimmin’ pool, he wears Justin Fields floaties on those skinny little string bean arms of his. Trevor Lawrence can only date the girls Justin Fields has rejected. When Trevor Lawrence happens to see Justin Fields at a QB camp, he instinctively gives Justin his lunch money (and then he wets a little pee pee).
But don’t worry - he’ll do just fine at Clemson!

Good stuff Tigerman! That’s all well and good for a guy who played at the lower levels, bless his heart (Harrison HS is in AAAAAA, btw). But when he steps on the field with the bog boys, you know guys who won things like:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=1&v=ESKiMi8F63E
from voters who see and know these guys the best, well he just poops his pampers.
http://www.espn.com/college-sports/football/recruiting/playerrankings/_/class/2018/order/true
https://www.nbcsports.com/video/georgia-bulldogs-land-qb-justin-fields-nations-no-1-recruit
When Trevor Lawrence has a ticket for a movie, he doesn’t dare go in the theater unless he’s sure Justin Fields has seen it already. When Trevor Lawrence eats a hot dog, he waits for Justin Fields to hand him the mustard bottle before squirting some on. When Trevor Lawrence got a new bike for Christmas, he never rode it until he knew Justin Fields had a better bike. When Trevor Lawrence goes back home, he always stops by Justin Fields’ place to see if he can sweep Justin’s floor. He’s a really good kid. Clemson is a great place for him.

You realize that all falls apart when you posted an article stating Fields is the #1 recruit....at the end, he was...only on 1 recruiting service, ESPN, the one tied to the SEC. Rivals and 247 both have TL at #1....overall (not just #1 QB). Let me know when you have more than just 1 camp to utilize...and "Mr Georgia"...I believe U.S. Army Player of the year at the All American Bowl is a National award, not just a GA state award. Wouldn't that be against BIGGER dogs?? Again, thanks for playing.

Over?? Uh, no. You guys know good and well that nothing is over until Justin Fields decides it is. And he clearly decided that last summer in Oregon. All these “accolades” you mention? Pfttph. No one cares about a one of them. I’m talking about NO ONE. Ask any HS QB “what’s the award”. It’s the Elite 11. Period. 10-4? I don’t think so. Not a single QB thinks so, and most importantly Trevor Lawrence doesn’t think so. He’d trade all of them in a minute for the Elite 11. Look in his eyes in that vid. He knew he was toast after day 1 - actually after the morning session on day 1. He wanted no more part of it. You could see all over his face he wanted to go home - so he could stop by Justin Fields’ house on the way and wash his car. The one thing Justin Fields won’t have to decide is how fast you tiggies will turn on Trevor Lawrence as soon as your guys gack one up to someone like Syracuse. Or Pitt at home. (Like you’ve proven you’ll do to the guy who led you to a CFP appearance last year). LOL. But anyway, enough of this. You got your guy and we have ours. Good luck this season, and I hope we meet in the CFP (where we will whip you yet again - you know, like we always do).
Reply as you wish, I’m out.

The jealousy is strong on this one. Psssttt...14-4... Keep trying to think that one little thing you can talk about works... It's just one camp comp. Who the hell cares about an annual elite 11... State records last longer... And Trevor has them. Don't worry, they'll get a chance to settle it on the field at some point. We'll see who the real deal is.
