Great story. Our next door neighbors have a daughter who started in the Life program last fall. I learned from them the application and interview process is very extensive. A class is typically limited to less than 20 students and they get applications from all across the nation. The really cool thing is that Clemson collaborates with other universities across the country to help them start up programs. Clemson University is recognized as a national leader in this area.

If you’ve not been, check out the shepherd hotel in clemson, one of the two places her son works. Also - I don’t have the link now but will try to find - look up the YouTube clip of the shepherd hotel. A great story. Dabo and Pres Clements are very involved.

What a terrific thing to have in downtown Clemson. My daughter was a Clemson LIFE volunteer while she was a student and she loved it - just a great program.
