He looks to be working through some shooting woes as of late, but he was able to get a few to go down last night that will hopefully boost his confidence. As someone who scored so much last year, it has to be a bit odd to have Joe G come in and be instant offense, basically giving Chase a new role.
Anyways, my point being, I hope he doesn't see reduced minutes because even if he is cold shooting, the offensive motion is notably improved with him on the court versus Dillon or Beadle, that is something I am hoping they can both improve on in the future.

His motion and command of the offense is awesome. He is a fantastic passer and has great court vision.
His shot will come. He's a great FT shooter, but needs a bit more consistency mid range and from 3pt land. I habe confidence he will improve innthat area.
He needs to improve on the turnovers. Sometimes he drives, and has nowhere to go and loses the ball. He is a great leader for us and i cant wait to see him continue to hit huge shots for us.

On another note, beadle is going to end up a STUD. Dude can drive by anybody and finish at the rim. He's oozing with confidence and is a great passer. He just needs to play more in control.

#0 has really caught my eye this year. Beadle really does seem to have PLENTY of potential. I'm guessing he's bought in to the program considering he's been there 3 years with little playing time. Ive long thought Brownell should let him play through some mistakes but then again there's been so few minutes to go around. Hope he doesn't transfer because he could start at most D1 schools yet, he'll be battling for minutes again next year with Heidbreder and Jones.

It will come. All shooters go thru it. It looks like he is trying to "aim" and his shot is more flat than usual (he never has had a ton of arc). He needs another 8-12 inches of arc. Next, they will start coming up just short because of the extra arc; slight adjust from there and he will be back on track.

Lack of arc never seemed to hurt Fred Gilliam

There are a lot of great shooters that shot it flat. Gannon at NC State was one that comes to mind. You just have less room for error with a flat shot. My point is that Hunter's looks to be more flat to me than when he is "on".

I think he just needs to play within himself and the offense … I feel like he tries to force stuff a lot of times but he’s also a very capable scorer but with the guys we have he doesn’t have to be the main scorer… just take care of the ball and run the offense. Like mentioned he’s a great passer and can get to the line and eventually the shots will start to fall again for him.

I agree. He is forcing things right now. He wants to get back on track for his team. It's a matter of time until this happens. Good thing is this team has so many options.

But yet still had his moment last night. He threw up that 10ft'er that barely hit the side of the backboard. Hope he gets it straight before conference play as we do need him.

No he won't his ball handling and knowledge of the offense is critical. He needs to be on the floor and other guys are scoring so when he does get hot again it will be icing on the cake.

Seems like he sees JG3 score 10 pts in 60 secs and then he needs a turn to prove he can play too. Forcing it a bit.
