I am pumped for my Dawgs to be playing your Tigers next week in Athens! May the best team win. Also, on a side note, I really think you have a good bunch of fans on here. I heard from so many Georgia fans that you all were very classless, but so far I haven't had anyone respond in a classless manner to me at all. Your good people in my book. I just really hope we beat you next week hehe, but good luck. I enjoy watching your program play some great football.
P.S - please beat South Carolina and FSU this year.. South Carolina for me(dawg fan) and FSU for my wife (gator fan) lol...

Good for you. If you took it without a fight, I probably wouldn't consider you good people . I never mind a good debate on football.. and I am definitely biased to my team, but I try to keep an open mind.

That's something we strongly agree on. I think the dawgs have a chance at a good season. I think they win the east and the D gets stronger as the year wears on. A loss to Clemson won't hurt your playoff chances if you sweep the rest of your schedule.

last for some time, which is a shame considering the proximity of the schools.
Though UGA holds a decisive margin of wins over us, I can't recall a game that wasn't pre-hyped to the nth degree.
Truth be told, most of us have family, close friends, neighbors, etc. who are UGA alumni or fans, and we've enjoyed the matchups. The wife of a close boating buddy here on Lake Murray is a daughter of one of Vince Dooley's longtime assistants, and we've had a great time with the series.
That conference alignments and TV money are ruining some great, old rivalries is one of the worst modern developments of the game.

We should play Uga at least every other year . They are proximal , have many ties to this state as Hartins mentioned and our history with them is one of the longest OOC in the country between two football teams , having first met on the field in 1897.
I am just old enough to remember the 1977-1987 decade that saw these two teams play epic , defensive battles on each others fields.
It is a shame that CU vs UGa is not going to happen that often anymore.
On the bright side , it looks like our beatings of Auburn are on the uptick what with the recent announcement that we are home and home with the Alabama TigerEagles again starting in 2015.

Welcome Clayton. We look forward to this game as well. Always love Clemson vs UGA.
Most of the people who call us classless are the ones who come on talking smack or their first post predicts us going 4-8 this year and losing 53-3 in Athens. haha.. yeah they do not get as kind of a reception. Plus we do have our 10% of obnoxious fans as explained by the 90/10* rule.
Welcome.. feel free to talk game thoughts, win or lose, and come back afterwards and we will eat our crow or hand a little out 
* - 90/10 rule: Most college football fan bases adhere to the 90/10 rule. They are either 90% nice and 10% unpleasant or 90% unpleasant and 10% nice. Clemson, for an easy example, is well known throughout the ACC and SEC as being a mostly nice fan base, where as the same fans asked about SCar (another easy example) quickly responded that they were, for the most part, troubling to be around and unpleasant.. though the occasional pleasant ones can be found.
