hard to argue with the high level of play from that program every year. They're ranked nationally almost every year and are usually involved with the state playoffs deep into the tournament....

I played safety on the Berkeley HS team that got badly beaten in the 1986 State Championship. We were heavy favs with HS All-American Mike Dingle at RB , but they handled us that rainy night.
Have hated them since.
Im a grudge holder , lol.
A very quality football program most years .

I went to high school in NC when Knotts was at my school. I'd take him anyday of the week over Bentley. He is the man.

I'm from North Augusta originally....great regular season game.
DF ran over us in the first half - we laid a goose egg on them in the second and won it.
But glad to see DF derail Byrnes last year and win it all haha.
NA played Cardiac Kids last night and squeaked out a win over Lakeside (GA) 12-10 on a field goal as time expired.

You really think Byrnes, which is playing De La Salle in California would be scared to play Dutch Fork? When Knotts was at Independence, he wouldn't play Byrnes in a regular season game. Scrimmage only. He was trying to protect his little winning streak he had going over all the bad teams in the Charlotte area.
Also, Bentley is now at Auburn. Try to keep up.

I think if we start another qb or let Dupree Hart play it because he will be playing baseball in college. Northwestern gave it a good shot though, and I'm not convinced Byrnes is that much better of a team.

so they'd be playing against the Byrnes, Gaffney, Sparty, etc.
From the Lower State - who knows, maybe Summerville will be the top B16 team.
Was surprised that Northwestern came back and made a game of it against Byrnes...and yep I'd agree with someone earlier who said Byrnes still doesn't look like the machine they've been over the last few years.
